By accessing or using our Services, whether or not you register to use the Service, you agree to the terms of this Agreement and to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information, which establish a contractual relationship between you and Star Laundromats. You should review the Agreement before providing us with any information.

As a condition of this Agreement, you further acknowledge that Star Laundromats may modify this Agreement at any time by providing notice. That notice may be given by posting a revision to these Terms and Conditions.

Your continued access or use of the Services after such notice or posting constitutes your consent to be bound by the Agreement, as amended. You affirm that you will review this Agreement periodically, so that you are aware of any and all modifications made to this Agreement.

You may not create a link to this website from another website or document without Star Laundromats' prior written consent.

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. Our content is also general in nature and does not constitute advice in any way.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

If you wish to do any of these things, you must get our written permission first.

Customer Agreement & Terms of Use

In order to use most aspects of the Services, you must register for and maintain an active personal user Services account (“Account”). You must be at least 13 years of age to obtain an Account. Account registration requires you to submit to Star Laundromats certain personal information, such as your name, address, and mobile phone number, as well as at least one valid credit card. You agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in your Account. Your failure to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date Account information, including having an invalid or expired credit card on file, may result in your inability to access and use the Services or Star Laundromats' termination of this Agreement with you. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, and, as such, you agree to maintain the security and secrecy of your Account username and password at all times. Unless otherwise permitted by Star Laundromats in writing, you may only possess one Account.

By creating an Account, you agree that Star Laundromats may send you text messages (SMS) as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Services. You may opt-out of receiving SMS from Star Laundromats at any time by logging into your profile or contacting our support team. You acknowledge that opting out of receiving SMS may impact your use of the Services.

By purchasing our services, the customer agrees they are at risk at all times for the loss or damage of their personal property. Therefore, the customer agrees any claims and reimbursements must be made in accordance with Star Laundromats’ policies.

Lost Items

We take every precaution to safeguard your belongings. However, if you discover an item missing, please report it within 48 hours of receiving your laundry. To make a claim, provide the delivery ticket and a proof of purchase or receipt. This claim should include a receipt or proof of purchase and the delivery ticket.

In the event of reimbursement, which we typically issue as store credit, the amount will be the lesser of either:

  • 10 times the cost of cleaning the item; or

  • Replacement value of the garment(s). 50% if purchases was made within the last 3 months, 25% for purchases between 3-6 months old, and 10% for items purchased over 6 months ago. Receipts of garment(s) must be provided upon request.

Please note, while our team diligently checks each garment for personal items or valuables, Star Laundromats cannot be held accountable for any such items that are lost.

Per New York State law, garments unclaimed after 30 days will be donated to a charitable organization.

Wash Dry Fold

For reimbursement of lost or damaged items in our Wash Dry Fold service, you must provide a detailed list at drop-off. This list should specify the brand, style, color, and size of each item.

Reimbursement, typically issued as store credit, will not exceed 10 times the cleaning charge for the order. Without this list at drop-off, Star Laundromats cannot be held accountable for any lost or damaged items, and no reimbursement or compensation will be provided.

Hand Washing

Star Laundromats uses advanced commercial-grade machines and does not provide hand washing. For items requiring "hand washing," customers should separate and label them clearly. These will be washed on a gentle cycle. Star Laundromats is not liable for any damage to garments requiring hand washing, due to the delicate nature of these items.

Self-Service

When using our self-service laundry facilities, customers assume full responsibility for their items. Star Laundromats does not offer compensation for any damage, or lost items, that may occur during self-service laundering. This is an inherent risk of using self-service options.

Pickup and Delivery

If we use a third-party company for pick up and delivery and you miss the scheduled pick up or delivery, Star Laundromats is charged by that third-party company for the attempt. We will pass that expense on to the customer.
